Omega-is a variety of flax-developed by NDSU (North Dakota State University) The seeds of the omega flax are yellow, (which is not the ordinary color) most flax seeds are brown. Some people think, the omega variety, has superior food quality.

The omega flax seed oil is cold pressed to minimize any damaging effects of light, oxygen and high temperatures.

Omega flax seed oil has the polyunsaturated fatty acids-linolenic acid (omega 3) and linoleic acid (omega 6), they are essential fats.
