LIGNANS

You can use these lignans for Atypical canine Cushing's.

These lignans are from the hull of the flaxseed (flaxhulls) are also referred to as

SECOISOLARICIRESINOL DIGLYCOSIDE
The abbreviation is (SDG or SD)

PLEASE!!! note--my 100% Ebay feedback through my about me page.

This product does not have anything else added to it. The hull of the flaxseed is removed by a mechanical process, then the oil is pressed out of the hulls with a standard low temperature press. (pressed flax hulls)

We now have oil free flaxhulls, that have a long shelf life, because of no oil [the oil is what spoils (goes rancid)].

These flaxhulls are sold in containers that furnish one months supply to humans (1/3 pound).

If you divide 16oz (one pound) by 3 = 5.3333333oz and multiply by 28.3495 ( the number of grams per oz) = 151.1973323 (grams per container) divided by (30 servings) = 5.0399 grams per serving times 35mg of SDG per gram = 176.4mg SDG per serving.

NOTE!! that in the calculations above, I use 35mg SDG per gram of flaxhull.
Actually the SDG can vary from 30 to 60mg per gram of flaxhull.
This is dependent on the flaxseed that is being processed.
So in doing some rounding and more calculations we could have 30mg SDG times 150 grams is equal to 4500mg SDG per container or 4500 divided by 30 human servings equals 150mg SDG per human serving as the low figure. AND a high figure of double that.

HOW MUCH DO YOU GIVE YOUR DOG????

Take a look at a couple of documents from the University of Tennessee.

document #2

These flaxhulls (pressed flaxhulls) are organic and certified by USA ORGANICS.
I might point this out to you--------a retired NDSU (North Dakota State University) professor did some experimenting with feeding whole flaxseeds to dogs and reported that he could find nothing that resembled a flax kernel in the excrement, meaning that it appears that the flaxseed was digested. I point out the above, that perhaps digestion may not be a problem with flax products.

The cost is $39.95 and it includes 1st class mail, shipping to the United States.
Included is a 40 page informational booklet (for humans).

Here is a picture of what you will receive for $39.95

Have another look at my about me page, we change it occasionally
